The sun was shining in session 5 so the girls went outside and closed their eyes and listened to all the sounds around them. They recreated those sounds and made a sound orchestra to recreate the sense of place. They then thought of metaphors and smilies associated with those sounds and wrote them on big pieces of paper. Babbling teachers was a favourite!
